The Bilk Arcaden are a success story of Düsseldorf's urban planning, as the shopping and entertainment center in the Bilk district was built in the early 1990s on the disused site of the former Düsseldorf-Bilk freight station. Today, the Bilk Arcaden Düsseldorf is home to a wide range of leisure and shopping facilities. Visitors will find a swimming pool, the shopping center, apartments, doctors, an event center and a branch of the Düsseldorf public library. A total of 120 stores offer a wide range of goods and services on 48,500 square meters of retail space. This is successfully complemented by the diverse gastronomic offerings of the Bilk Arcaden. Architecturally, the Bilk Arcaden Düsseldorf are rather plain on the outside. Inside, however, they impress with their spaciousness.

Directions and parking

Bilk Arcaden Düsseldorf is located right next to the tracks of Düsseldorf-Bilk station. This gives visitors direct access to the city's S-Bahn and U-Bahn networks as well as the bus network. Those arriving by car will find an underground car park with around 850 parking spaces. Merowingerstrasse offers direct access to the B 326 and thus also to the city ring road.
