Location and special features

With a pure sales area of 119,000 square meters, Centro Oberhausen is one of the largest shopping centers in Germany. But it also beats other records, as both the total of 220 retail outlets and the 1,100-seat "Coca-Cola Oasis" catering area are unique in Germany. Centro is also famous for its numerous leisure activities, ranging from the Centro Park adventure park, Gasometer Oberhausen and Metronom Musical Theater to the multiplex cinema, Legoland Discovery and Aqua Park adventure pool and Sea Life Aquarium with Heinz Schleußer Marina. Shopping can almost become a minor matter - but only almost! After all, the light-flooded Centro, some of which are three storeys high, provides plenty of variety with its well-known brands and stores. Directions and parking

Built directly on the Rhine-Herne Canal in 1996, Centro is not far from Oberhausen city center. In addition, the A 42 and B 223 motorways pass right by and offer excellent connections to Duisburg and Bottrop. With 14,000 free parking spaces, Centro is very car-friendly. But Centro is also easy to reach by bus and streetcar (line 112).
