Description

Shakespeare Frankfurt makes use of classical and modern theatrical techniques, to bring stories that are applicable to the modern world and make them accessible to a modern audience. The ensemble performs at the Internationales Theater Frankfurt, Kulturhaus Frankfurt and Frankfurt Botanical Gardens, where it's annual open-air event "Shakespeare in the garden" is at home. Successful productions of Shakespeares "The Tempest" (2016) and "Twelfth Night" (2017) founded the ensemble which now produces three classical plays each season. The current Shakespeare in the Garden open-air event is A Midsummer Night’s Dream performing in June 2018. The new season starts with Ibsen–An Enemy of the People performed at the Internationales Theater in October 2018.
