Location and special features

The Galerie Neustädter Tor shopping center is located not far from the River Lahn directly on the north side of Giessen and therefore scores points for its good transport infrastructure. Opened in October 2005, Galerie Neustädter Tor has around 18,000 square meters of retail space. With space for 65 specialist stores, Galerie Neustädter Tor is ideally equipped for inner-city requirements. The stores are spread over a total of two floors.

Access and parking

Galerie Neustädter Tor is directly connected to the Giessen city center ring road via the North and West complexes and therefore offers excellent connections in every direction. As part of Giessen's pedestrian zone, Galerie Neustädter Tor is also easy to reach on foot. The center's own multi-storey parking lot offers just over 1,000 parking spaces. In addition, bus lines 3, 7, 12, 13, 24, 140, 210, 410, 419, 420, 800, 801, 802 run from the center.
