Die Schrifstellerin Susana Camino lebt seit 26 Jahren in Stuttgart, Deutschland. Als diplomierte Spanischlehrerin unterrichte sie seit über 20 Jahren Spanisch an unterschiedlichen Einrichtungen. Ihr erster Roman "La salahombres" wurde im Februar 2015 auf der Buchmesse in Havanna vorgestellt und ist auf Kuba bereits ein Bestseller. Die erste Auflage des Buches war innerhalb weniger Wochen vergriffen.
