Location and special features

Built in 2008 in the direct vicinity of Hanover's main train station, the Ernst August Galerie Hanover offers not only an excellent public infrastructure, but also a wide range of stores and restaurants. Named after the square in front of it, the Ernst August Galerie has 150 specialist stores on a total of three sales levels. This makes the shopping center in the heart of the trade fair city one of the largest in the Hannover region. The retail focus is on fashion, gifts and toys as well as gastronomy. But a supermarket has also found a place here. As a small special feature, the historic portal of a neo-baroque Hanoverian old town house has been integrated into the facade of the center.

Directions and parking

Ernst August Platz is the meeting point for cabs, streetcars and buses. Here, visitors to the center enjoy excellent connections to all directions. Those arriving by car can park in the center's own parking garage. This offers 1,200 parking spaces for which a fee is charged.
