Location and special features

On the north-western edge of Magdeburg is not only the popular local recreation area of Florapark, but also the shopping center of the same name. With a sales area of 75,000 square meters, it is one of the largest in Saxony-Anhalt and is home to around 90 stores. These are spread over a total of two floors and range from owner-managed specialist stores to large-scale retail giants such as Real, C&A and Roller. The special feature of the Flora-Park Center is its 1000-metre-long shop window, which extends inside. The architecture also impresses with plenty of daylight, which can penetrate deep into the interior through the numerous U-shaped glass facades. The gastronomic offer is covered by local bakeries and snack stands as well as international food chains such as McDonalds, Subways and Nordsee.

Directions and parking

The Flora-Park Center offers access to the A 2 and B 71. Magdeburg city center is 7 km away and can be easily reached via bus routes 52 and 71 as well as by streetcar 1, 8, 9 and 10. The center has 3000 free parking spaces and a petrol station for individual visitors.
