Location and special features

With a sales area of around 100,000 square meters, the Sihlcity urban entertainment center in Zurich comprises 75 stores, 14 food outlets, a Four Points by Sheraton hotel with 132 rooms, a fitness center, a cultural center, a medical center, a library offices and 16 city apartments. In addition, the building at Kalanderplatz 1, which opened on March 22, 2007, is home to Zurich's second-largest movie theater: it seats around 2,100 people in 18 auditoriums.

Directions and parking

Sihlcity can be reached by car via the Zürich-Brunau freeway junction (A3 Basel-Sargans) and via the Uetliberg tunnel (Zürich's western bypass). There are 850 paid parking spaces available. Tram line 5 and trolley bus line 72 operate at the Sihlcity Nord stop from Monday to Friday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. The terminus of the city bus line 89 is located in the Sihlcity underground parking garage.
