Location and special features

Exactly where the Neckar makes a sharp bend near Mettingen is where you will find the "City before the City". Located around 5 kilometers from Esslingen city center, the Neckarcenter is characterized by its well-stocked range of goods and services: Here you can spend time in 26 retail outlets, 8 restaurants and 7 service outlets on a sales area of 21,500 square meters. Mediamarkt, E-Center, Modemarkt Adler and the specialist sports store Decathlon are the main attractions for visitors. However, other major brands are also represented here. The history of the Neckarcenter dates back to 1968, when the first stores were set up here on a greenfield site not far from the banks of the Neckar.

Thanks to its direct location on the B10, the Neckar-Center offers excellent connections to both Stuttgart and Göppingen.
